The Perception Acadia 12.5 kayak is a sleeker than average recreational boat. Top of heap amongst rec boats for speed and performance, the Acadia 12.5 adds a little room for bigger folks to enjoy. Designed to be easy and forgiving to handle, but still light for easy cartopping, the Acadia uses Perception's Comfort Fit System, which has AirCore adjustable lumbar support, Camlok adjustable Hi-Back backrests, Keepers footbraces and Thermofoam seatpads. In short, the Acadia is easy to handle and comfortable enough to spend a day exploring your favorite pond, swamp or inlet.

Excellent choice
I'm so glad I made the choice to buy this Kayak. It is extremely stable and just an all around joy to paddle. I looked at many Kayaks before getting this one and for the price and class of Kayak, I think it was the best choice I have made in a long time. Thanks for the quick shipping and excellent service.
A Good Choice
Alright! I ordered this kayak with a little trepidation about having it shipped all the way to CT. But, a week after I placed my order, it arrived in good condition. I took the kayak out on the lake that afternoon and was very satisfied with my choice. The 2005, 12.5 is designed so that it is stable on straight paddles and still allows a short turning radius with some edging when I lean into it. Also, the dry storage compartment in the stern is a real plus. I would order this kayak again. Thanks!
