(This proves that money CAN buy happiness.) If you've ever used inferior nylon paddling pants you will immediately appreciate the comfort of stretch fabric in the seat. The 3-layer nylon stretch fabric is waterproof but super breathable so you won't get clammy when exerting yourself. Although fitted, you'll still be able to layer under the Stretch Paddling Pants, while enjoying excellent freedom of movement with a gusseted crotch, articulated knees, and adjustable neoprene cuffs & waistband.

a little dissapointed
There was one major problem to these pants. The seat and upper legs are far roomier than you would ever need and bulge out in an unflattering way. I understand if you want room for a layer or two, but anyone who wears these expects to get wet and you would never need that many layers underneath if they might get wet. Everything else about these paddling pants I loved. I use them for sailing and the strechy seat is crucial. The neoprene waistband and the tapered velcro ankles keep water out.
